The Apple MacBook Air MD760LL/B is very light so if you’re traveling a lot with a computer, this is perfect. Having a lightweight computer is a must if you are like me, who always takes a laptop on the road to work with my project.
One thing that you’ll love, the laptop will fold down just nicely, but other laptop can do this too, however, you will love how this will not feel cheap or flimsy whatsoever. I had an old MacBook Pro, and this MacBook Air won’t heat up easily. Even when you run some basic Mac games, it will stay cool.
Not saying it can’t get hot, but most of the times, it will stay cool, it will get slightly warm when you charge the device. See here how warm other people get on this device.
Apart of being light, having a laptop that has long battery life is also an important factor. If you travel a lot, you will have limitation to charge your laptop due to outlet limitation, therefore, this Mac Air is recommended for those who travels a lot, since it has 6-7 hours battery life of intensive usage. You will even have longer battery life if you can avoid doing heavy jobs, like working with Garageband, Adobe products, and gaming.
The performance SSD storage are proven to be faster than regular hard drive computers, the Apple MacBook Air MD760LL/B came with 128 GB SSD. You will notice the significant speed improvement while opening application and web browser windows or tabs. The big plus, waking up your laptop just needs a few seconds.
With this amount of storage (128GB flash storage), you will probably be worried if the storage would be enough for you. Trust me, if you have this computer, and use it as your second laptop, then it will be more than enough. External hard drives are getting cheap these days, for your music collections or other big files, keep them in the external HDD. Especially with drop box, Evernote, Google drive and other cloud applications, you won’t have any problems of keeping your files.
The 4GB RAM is more than adequate since it has flash storage. Mavericks OS does memory compression when needed, even having a 2GB RAM device, you can still do your routine computing as long as you are on SSD.

|Mavericks OS||Lion or Mavericks, if Lion you’ll have to download||Mavericks Already installed|
|Processor||1.3GHz i5||1.4GHz i5|
From MD760LL/A, this MD760LL/B is a minor specs improvement, however the pre-installed Mavericks OS and the faster processor make this new model more efficient in terms of energy and battery life. Click this link if you want tips to show Library on Mavericks OS.
The bonus? $100 dropped price!.
Overall, the Apple MacBook Air MD760LL/B is a great computer. The small drawback is probably this doesn’t have retina display.
However, do you really want a retina display on an Air? Retina display will only make the laptop thicker, more expensive, and will drain the power of your laptop, so I personally would not want a better display if I must sacrifice the battery life.
And if you want to compare MacBook Air with other laptops, you should consider Apple’s reliability, and the value (including resale). People loves Macbooks. So whenever you want to upgrade your device, you can sell it easily.
